  • Does PoleStar perform any other diagnostic tests apart from allergy & food intolerance?
    No, we are an allergy & food intolerance dedicated laboratory. With dedication, comes focus & expertise, as a result PoleStar is the leader in this domain.
  • What is the turn around time? / How long will it take to get my diagnostic test results?
    The reporting time is 48hrs. Thus, within 48 hrs of us receiving your samples, we will provide the test results
  • What kind of sample do you need?
    Serum sample is required.
  • Do I need to fast before my test?
    No, fasting is not required before performing any of our tests.
  • Do I need to stop my allergy medications before the test?
    No, there is no need to stop any medication like antihistamines or corticosteroids before our tests. If you are on anti-IgE therapy (e.g. Omalizumab), you are requested to inform us before booking the test, so that the testing can be appropriately planned.
  • I have queries regarding my test report. Can you assist in report interpretation?
    Yes, we can abdolutely assist with report interpreation and any such queries. Feel free to write to us on support@polestarlabs.in or call us on [enter number]
  • Can I continue taking antihistamines before my allergy test?
    Yes, our tests are not affected by the usage of antihistamines.
  • Do you offer allergy testing for children?
    Yes, we offer allergy testing for individuals of all ages, including children. Our pediatric allergy specialists are skilled in working with children to ensure a comfortable and accurate testing experience.
  • What do I do if I test positive for an allergy?
    If you test positive for an allergen, your healthcare provider will be able to assist you to manage your condition. This might involve avoidance strategies, medication, lifestyle adjustments and other therapeutics (immunotherapy, biologics etc.)
